What major problem have you encountered? How have you dealt with it?

In September of '92, while driving a Chevrolet Cavalier (wearing a seatbelt), I was in an automobile accident and suffered a head injury. Currently I have no distinct deficit or disability, relative to the years that have passed.

Following my injury, my one noticeable weakness was an auditory retention deficit; this heals with time, effort, nutrition, medication and organization. If this flaw still exists, it is ever so slight and compensated for, using a variety of tactics. Determination and persistence have been major factors in my recovery and, my injury has no bearing on my ability to do the job.

Below are excerpts from two articles relevant to the topic.

Since the accident, I have recovered well.

The remaining deficit, is that I retain a minor auditory retention deficit,
for which I am compensating for.

ie. - If I only hear something, it is more difficult to retain than if I both hear and see it.

but in rising again after you fall."
